Low 962 55N 016W tracks southeast into Rockall before turning north and crossing southern Iceland during Sunday before becoming slow moving to the south of Iceland Monday. During this time the low 998 69N 018W fills rapidly and low 983 60N 023W moves southeast as a filling feature. High 1037 northwest of the Azores moves steadily southeast through the period as low 1014 38N 056W deepens before passing east to the north of the Azores during Sunday. This low continues to deepen as it moves northeast to reach the southwestern coast of the UK later Monday. A further low 1001 Newfoundland Sunday deepens as it moves east into the western Atlantic Monday. Gales spread east across the northern half of the area through Saturday and early Sunday
