Heavy showers and locally thundery downpours on Wednesday.
This Evening and Tonight:
Mainly cloudy this evening with the chance of a shower in places. Heavier and more frequent showers arriving in Cornwall and these edging east overnight, carrying the risk of thunder. Some places, especially in eastern counties, staying dry. Remaining mild. Minimum temperature 14 °C.
Wednesday:
Heavy showers for some, especially in the south, with thunderstorms possible. Showers probably easing later in the afternoon with plenty of evening sunshine in most places. Feeling a bit warmer. Maximum temperature 23 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Largely fine through this period with a mixture of cloud and warm sunshine. Probably turning damp and murky in Cornwall and west Devon on Friday with occasional drizzle.
