    Headline:

    Outbreaks of showery rain, especially in the west.

    This Evening and Tonight:

    Remaining cloudy through the evening with a band of heavy rain pushing northwestwards overnight. The rain slowly clearing during the early hours, though staying rather cloudy, with some drizzle in the west. Feeling mild. Breezy along coasts at times. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

    Monday:

    After a cloudy and damp start, cloud should break up through the day, giving a brighter afternoon for many with sunny spells and light winds. However, showers linger for Cornwall. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

    Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

    With high pressure building it is likely to remain settled, but often cloudy. Gradually turning colder come Christmas Day as an easterly breeze develops, with perhaps the odd wintry flurry.
