    Showers continuing for some overnight, these heavy and frequent in some western areas and in areas adjacent to the Bristol Channel. Winds easing inland but staying breezy on coasts. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

    Friday:

    Another changeable day with sunny spells and cloudier periods. Showers are likely, these heavy with perhaps some thunder, but drier periods more prevalent than on Thursday. Breezy at times. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

    Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

    Sunny spells and blustery showers on Saturday, these perhaps easing later. Much windier on Sunday with heavy rain likely for a time. Probably brighter on Monday with showers. Feeling cooler.
