A cloudy and rather wet day with periods of rain, persistent at times. Low cloud will give mist and hill fog in places. Milder than on Friday with light winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Colder on Sunday with perhaps some patchy rain and hill snow. Mainly dry on Monday and Tuesday, perhaps with some brightness. Often breezy and turning locally mild in the west.

These will bring periods of rain to much of the UK, although the heaviest rainfall will probably be in western areas. Some eastern areas could end up largely dry. Strong winds are also likely at times, especially along coasts.
