A largely dry and bright start but showers will become increasing frequent throughout the day. The showers will turn heavy and persistent at times, especially across the north. A windy day, especially over the hills and exposed coasts. Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Tonight:
Showers will fade this evening, allowing some clearer spells to develop. Thicker cloud and patchy rain however may return to western Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly later. Winds easing. Minimum temperature 15 °C.
Wednesday:
Largely dry with bright or sunny spells for many, but thicker cloud and patchy rain may linger across parts of Cornwall and west Devon. Feeling warmer especially in any brightness. Maximum temperature 22 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Warmer on Thursday and Friday with a mix of sunshine and a scattering of showers. Rain chances increase on Saturday, with some heavy and thundery rain possibly developing.
