    Isolated showers still possible along western coasts, moving inland for a time this evening. Otherwise, dry overnight with lengthy clear periods and gentle winds. A chilly night with pockets of frost and fog developing. Minimum temperature -1 °C.

    Saturday:

    Bright to begin the weekend, though sunshine turning hazier through the day as cloud builds. Winds strengthening with coastal gales developing around Anglesey by evening. Dry during daylight hours. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

    Wet in the northwest on Sunday with gales around coasts and hills; southern counties remaining dry until later. Staying unsettled into next week with further rain and brisk winds expected.
