Some bright spells during the morning, though often fairly cloudy with a few showers. Cloud thickening from the west to bring heavy showery rain during the afternoon accompanied by strong, gusty winds, especially in the north of the country. Milder. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
A showery and very windy end to the day. Gales in the north. Becoming drier overnight with plenty of clear spells and lighter winds developing by dawn. Turning chillier. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
