    A cold and frosty start for many with icy stretches in places. Otherwise a dry and sunny day with lighter winds than of late. Sunshine turning hazier later by the afternoon. Feeling less cold in the lighter winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

    Tonight:

    A cold evening, but becoming cloudier and windier with outbreaks of rain pushing eastwards overnight. Temperatures rising through the night. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

    Saturday:

    An unsettled morning with rain and strong winds. Drier and brighter for a time during the afternoon before showery rain arrives later. Feeling less cold. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

    Remaining unsettled on Sunday and Monday with further spells of rain and showers. Some brighter spells in between, more so on Tuesday. Less cold, especially overnight and often windy.
