    Rather chilly first thing with some early morning spells of sunshine. Turning increasingly cloudy through the day, with spells of rain spreading into northern parts by the afternoon. More widely wet later. Feeling chilly in a brisk northwesterly wind. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

    Tonight:

    Remaining breezy with further spells of rain through this evening. Turning drier for many overnight and feeling cold where clear skies develop. A touch of frost in rural spots. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

    Monday:

    A drier day for many with some sunny spells, although a few scattered showers will continue to plague the north and west. Staying rather breezy, especially along the coasts. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

    Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

    Remaining changeable through this week with sunny spells and scattered showers, these perhaps merging to longer spells of rain. Still rather breezy, but with temperatures slowly recovering to average.
