    Any residual rain quickly clearing northeastwards through this evening, with clear spells and heavy, blustery showers overnight. Winds strengthening with gales in places, these perhaps locally severe on exposed coasts and over higher ground. Much milder than last night. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

    Monday:

    A windy day with gales in places, severe in coastal areas first thing. Frequent heavy showers but sunny spells developing by the afternoon. Feeling cool when exposed to the wind. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

    Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

    A drier day on Tuesday and much less windy. Wet and windy overnight, then a mixture of bright spells and a few showers on Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures around average.
