    Headline:

    Brighter today with sunny spells and a chance of showers.

    Today:

    Apart from a scattering of showers, mainly in the west, today will be a much drier day then yesterday with sunny spells. Still on the mild side but feeling cooler in the breeze. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

    Tonight:

    Isolated showers may continue in coastal regions overnight, but most places becoming dry with clear periods. Turning rather chilly with some frost possible in sheltered spots. Light winds for most. Minimum temperature 1 °C.

    Saturday:

    A largely fine day with sunny periods. Freshening southeasterly winds developing and turning windier in the west with some rain possible in Cornwall later. Cooler. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

    Often cloudy and dull through this period with some rain and drizzle possible at first. Initially rather mild though gradually turning colder and somewhat brighter with an easterly breeze developing.
