    Headline:

    Sunny intervals and occasional blustery showers.

    Today:

    Mostly dry start with sunny spells. However, cloud soon building, with a day of sunny intervals and occasional showers following. The odd heavy shower remains possible, perhaps thundery, along with blustery winds. However some eastern parts will stay dry throughout. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

    Tonight:

    Clear spells through the evening, but with isolated showers continuing to move inland from the English Channel. More widespread heavy showers spreading northeast after midnight, heavy at times. Gusty winds. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

    Saturday:

    Mostly fine and sunny start, but with a few showers continuing, mainly along the Essex coast. Cloud then building elsewhere with sunny spells and occasional showers following. Staying breezy. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

    Rain quickly moving northeast Sunday, clearing to sunshine and blustery showers. Strong gusty winds and coastal gales follow, continuing overnight and Monday, with showers. Drier, sunnier Tuesday with winds easing.
