Today will be very windy with Storm Éowyn expected to bring widespread disruption with damaging winds in places, especially across Cumbria and in coastal areas. Many places will however be dry with brighter periods and hazy sunny spells. Feeling chilly. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Very windy in the north of the region at first but winds continuing to ease overnight. Largely dry with clear periods and turning cold with a rural frost. Minimum temperature -1 °C.
