After a chilly start, Sunday will bring a mixture of fair weather cloud and sunny spells for all, but it will feel colder than of late, particularly in the fresh northerly winds. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Tonight:

Remaining dry overnight with easing winds and clear spells. It will be a noticeably colder night for all with frost forming by dawn. Minimum temperature 0 °C.

Monday:

It will be a cold and frosty start to the new week. A dry day will follow with plenty of sunny spells. Feeling rather chilly. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Feeling cold in the coming days, particularly in brisk northerly winds. Some frost overnight, then a mix of bright spells and showers, these likely turning wintry over hills.

Many central and northern parts of the UK will likely be in a colder but drier regime than of late with overnight frosts, and a few showers near windward coasts in particular which may be wintry on high ground. However, it could remain cloudier, milder and wetter initially across some southern and southwestern areas, with some uncertainty as to how quickly this clears away to the south. It is most likely that the bulk of the UK will experience drier and colder conditions into the first part of next week. Later in the period there is increasing uncertainty, but a trend towards more changeable conditions is possible, with some rain or showers in places, and perhaps some hill snow at times in the north. Temperatures overall may return to near-average.

Whilst the expected weather patterns during late November are very uncertain, there is a greater chance of spells of high pressure during this period, bringing more in the way of dry weather compared to the current weather pattern, which also increases the chances of overnight fog and frost. There will probably still be some spells of rain, showers, and stronger winds though, especially in the west. Hill snow is also a possibility, mainly in the north. Overall, near or slightly above average temperatures are most likely, though some colder spells are also possible, especially should any prolonged settled spells develop.
