Evening showers fading to give clear spells with variable amounts of cloud. Perhaps a further shower or two moving into the Pennines, but most parts staying dry with light winds. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Wednesday:

Dry morning, with plenty of sunshine. Cloud thickening into the afternoon with rain and showers moving east, perhaps heavy and blustery, with the odd rumble of thunder possible. Maximum temperature 23 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Sunny spells and showers through this period. Showers will occasionally be heavy, with the odd rumble of thunder, mainly Thursday and Friday. Perhaps drier for some Saturday. Temperatures near normal.

This will mean showers or longer spells of rain will affect the majority of the UK at times. Some heavy rain or showers are expected in places, most often in the west, although with a risk some of this could spread to other areas at times. Low pressure patterns are expected to dominate at the start of this period, bringing changeable weather conditions with showers or some longer spells of rain. Conditions may begin to turn more settled and drier later in the period, particularly in the south. Temperatures are likely to be close to or slightly above average.
