A fine and sunny start after any early mist and fog quickly clears. Prolonged sunshine for many through the day with some scattered high cloud, perhaps a touch cloudier across the Derbyshire hills. Light winds, and feeling warm. Maximum temperature 21 °C.

Tonight:

Any cloud over western hills soon clearing, with clear skies through the night. The odd mist and fog patch possible in places as winds drop out overnight. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Monday:

High cloud through the morning will clear to sunshine through the afternoon, leading to another warm and sunny day. Light winds. Maximum temperature 23 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Dry with plenty of sunshine each day, temperatures increasing to become very warm. Generally light winds, although easterly breezes from midweek bringing some slightly cooler temperatures to coasts at times.

Following a widely fine and very warm spell through the week, temperatures are most likely to return back closer to average from the north during Thursday and Friday. Whilst a little rain is possible during this transition, most areas remaining largely dry. Largley fine but cooler conditions are then most likely over the weekend. However, likely cloudier and breezier at times across some northern areas with a chance of rain. Into the following week, conditions will probably turn more changeable overall, with dry, settled periods interspersed with some spells of wetter weather. This will bring some showers or longer spells of rain at times, which could be heavy and thundery in places. Temperatures will likely be around average.
