Outbreaks of rain pushing in from the west, wintry at times over the hills. Becoming dry with clearing skies overnight with a frost developing and ice forming on untreated surfaces. Minimum temperature -1 °C.
Dry and bright for much of the day with some sunshine. However, turning wet and windy in the evening with some heavy rain and coastal gales. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Heavy outbreaks of rain or showers at times on Thursday. Bright with a scattering of showers on Friday. Colder on Saturday with showers confined to the Ayrshire coast.
