Dry but rather cloudy at first. Outbreaks of rain push into Dumfries and Galloway in the evening, spreading east overnight and falling as snow over hills, where there may also be some ice. Southeast winds occasionally freshening around the coasts. Minimum temperature -1 °C.
A cold and cloudy day with outbreaks of light rain, wintry across the hills, becoming drier in the west and more showery in the east later. Easterly winds mostly light. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday morning will be cold and cloudy with some patchy light rain, sleet and snow. During Tuesday gradually drier and brighter weather will feed from the south.
