A bright start with a touch of frost in places and isolated showers in the west. Any showers soon dying out with cloud thickening from the west. Patchy rain possible by dusk, but more persistent through the Trossachs. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Cloudy and turning much milder. Mainly dry towards North Sea coasts, but rain and drizzle further west, heavy and persistent at times through the Trossachs. Freshening west or southwest winds. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
