Feeling much cooler than of late with a mix of bright or sunny spells and a chance of showers, these mostly affecting the Pennines. Some places in east staying dry. A breezy day, with stronger gusts likely near heavier showers. Maximum temperature 11 °C.
Showers soon becoming confined to western hills with longer clear spells developing across eastern areas, where winds will fall light. Some frost likely. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
Starting bright on Saturday, before turning increasingly cloudy with strong winds and mostly light rain arriving from the west through the afternoon. Quite breezy later. Drier again overnight. Maximum temperature 11 °C.
