Some evening sunny spells are possible, but areas of cloud still persisting overnight. Generally mild, though feeling cool where clear spells hold on. Dry for all. Minimum temperature 10 °C.

Sunday:

A fine and dry day with light winds. Slightly cloudy at times but with more frequent sunny spells emerging compared to Saturday, helping it feel more widely warm. Maximum temperature 24 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Warm and sunny for bank holiday Monday, though somewhat breezier. Turning fresher from Tuesday with a transition to more changeable conditions featuring rain or showers at times.

Low pressure is expected to dominate this forecast period, with bands of rain and showers, perhaps slow moving at times which could bring some fairly wet days for some places. That being said there will be a good deal of dry weather in between showers and frontal bands of rain. Winds could be strong at times, especially around coasts as low pressure systems move through. As has been the case over the last few days, and normal for the time of year, confidence in details is lower than average. This is due to the activity in the tropical Atlantic, and how any systems move into mid-latitudes to help develop further low pressure systems which may affect the UK. Temperatures should be around average, still feeling pleasant enough during drier spells.

Most signs indicate low pressure will continue to dominate, and therefore unsettled or changeable weather looks more likely. This brings potential for periods of strong winds and spells of rain, but with spells of fair weather in between. Confidence through this period remains low. Temperatures are likely to be near to, or slightly above average overall.
