Winds easing through the evening, with wintry showers becoming restricted to nearer coasts, and some clear spells developing further inland. Cold, with widespread frost, and icy patches on untreated surfaces. Minimum temperature -4 °C.

Cold, largely dry and cloudy, although the odd sunny spell is possible later in the day. Wintry showers, mainly near coasts, gradually fading with mainly light winds. Very cold overnight. Maximum temperature 2 °C.
