    Today:

    Breezy with sunny spells and scattered showers, these heavy and blustery at times with a chance of thunder, especially around the middle of today. Later this afternoon showers are likely to come more isolated. Breezy with temperatures close to average. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

    Tonight:

    Patchy cloud and isolated showers initially, mostly across the Peak District. Later becoming dry and largely clear, with perhaps some patchy mist and fog, also chilly compared to recent nights. Minimum temperature 7 °C.

    Sunday:

    Dry morning, sunny initially but then high cloud arrives. Through the afternoon the cloud thickens and outbreaks of rain spread northeastwards, turning heavy at times. Becoming windy along the coast. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

    Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

    Monday windy with gales and heavy blustery showers, some with hail and thunder. Tuesday a few showers, winds gradually easing. Wednesday breezy with rain clearing, then brighter with isolated showers.
