Dry with plenty of clear spells in the west through the evening but cloudier in the east with lingering showers clearing. Dry for all overnight with long clear spells developing. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Sunday:

A dry and clear start but soon becoming cloudier with scattered showers developing. Showers may become heavy at times through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Remaining unsettled with largely cloudy skies but some sunny spells breaking through. Showers continue to spread eastwards with longer spells of rain at times. Light winds strengthening Wednesday. Becoming warmer

By Thursday, temperatures are likely to be trending upwards with the potential for very warm or even hot weather to develop, particularly in the south and east. However, this also brings a risk of heavy showers and thunderstorms, especially over parts of England and Wales. From around the weekend of the 14th and 15th, high pressure is likely to start to have more influence. This would bring periods of fine and dry weather, especially in south. Temperatures most likely above average with more hot spells possible.

Mid-June will probably see a good deal of dry weather across the UK due to the influence of high pressure, especially in the south, although some thundery outbreaks are still possible. Toward the end of June and start of July, details are uncertain but conditions may become more changeable with some periods of unsettled weather. Above average temperatures are more likely than below with some hot spells possible.
