A cloudy start with showery rain, with snow on hills. Brightening up with some sunny intervals, though still a few showers especially in the north these turning to sleet, hail or snow to low levels. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Clear spells and a few wintry showers this evening, then mainly dry and clear and frosty overnight, coastal showers dying out, WIdespread frost and some icy patches. Minimum temperature -5 °C.
Cold with a sharp frost in morning. A mostly dry day with some sunny periods. Clouding over later with rain and high ground snow spreading from west towards evening Maximum temperature 4 °C.
