    Mostly dry and bright, wintry showers from late afternoon.

    Today:

    The morning will begin cloudy but most places will be dry. Bright or sunny spells will increase from the late morning. Wintry showers will spread south into the area later in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

    Tonight:

    The night will be breezy with strong northerly coastal winds. Frequent wintry showers will become less frequent towards the morning. Minimum temperature -1 °C.

    Sunday:

    The wind will ease as it turns northwest during the morning. Early scattered showers will become isolated over northern coasts before clearing by the evening. Maximum temperature 4 °C.

    Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

    Monday and Tuesday will stay mainly dry with bright or sunny spells. It will become cloudy as a band of showers passes south during Wednesday.
