Some patchy rain across Moray and north Aberdeenshire at first. Heavier more persistent rain spreads northeast through the evening, continuing overnight. This wintry on higher ground during the first half of the night. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Rain turning showery in the morning with drier spells developing but a risk afternoon showers , fresh or strong winds. Turning colder. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
A bitterly cold few days with strong northerly winds and wintry showers, organised bands of sleet or snow forming at times. Drier further west with some winter sunshine here.
