    Dry with sunny spells. Wind easing.

    Today:

    A chilly and breezy start to the day. Dry, with sunny spells for many, although sunshine rather hazy in the east at first until high cloud clears. Feeling less cold as winds ease later. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

    Tonight:

    A dry night with long clear spells allowing temperatures to fall with a risk of frost and fog, mainly in rural spots. Minimum temperature -1 °C.

    Saturday:

    Any overnight fog will slowly clear, leaving a dry day with some sunny spells, although cloud thickening, especially towards the east, where rain may clip Essex later. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

    Cloudy Sunday, with outbreaks of rain, perhaps heavy at times. Rain clearing overnight then drier Monday but breezy and often cloudy. Some light rain Tuesday, perhaps feeling cooler.
