Mainly dry on Thursday, chance of a few showers across the southwest later. A lot of dry weather likely on Friday and Saturday, rather cold northerly winds.

Some drier and brighter interludes are likely between systems. After a cool start, temperatures will probably rise close to or slightly above normal later.
