Any showers soon dying out this evening with some late sunshine then clear spells overnight. Low cloud and mist edging inland from the Moray Firth and also extending across Sutherland. Chilly in rural parts. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
Low cloud and mist becoming confined to eastern coasts through the morning, otherwise a largely dry and sunny day, just a small chance of a shower over the hills. Maximum temperature 23 °C.
Dry with long clear or sunny spells through the coming days, although haar may affect eastern coasts at times. Warm or very warm, but eastern coasts cooler with onshore breezes.
