Variable amounts of cloud with sunny spells breaking through. Plenty of long dry spells throughout the day but a few showers possible, and these may be heavy where they occur. Breezy westerly winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Tonight:

It will be a largely dry night with clear spells. The odd heavy shower is possible however in the north. Breezy westerly winds. Minimum temperature 1 °C.

Sunday:

Mostly cloudy with some bright or sunny intervals. Scattered showers throughout the day which may be heavy at times and becoming more widespread and frequent by the evening. Moderate winds. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Remaining unsettled with largely cloudy skies but some sunny spells breaking through. Showers continue to spread eastwards with longer spells of rain at times. Light winds strengthening Tuesday. Becoming warmer.

The start of this period is likely to be quite unsettled but also widely warm or very warm, perhaps locally hot in parts of the south and east. Some showers and thunderstorms are likely to affect most parts but there will also be some sunshine. Over the weekend and into the start of the following week, most parts will become drier. However, there may be another brief spell of rain with a risk of some thunderstorms, before high pressure more firmly builds in from the west. The rest of the following week looks like being mainly dry with variable cloud and some sunshine and often warm or very warm. The far north may be largely cloudy with a threat of some more rain at times though.

Mid-June will probably see a good deal of dry weather across the UK due to the influence of high pressure, especially in the south, although some thundery outbreaks are still possible. Toward the end of June and start of July, details are uncertain but conditions may become more changeable with some periods of unsettled weather. Above average temperatures are more likely than below with some hot spells possible.
