    A cloudy day with frequent showers. Showers will be heavy at times, with a risk of thunderstorms, and will often merge to give longer spells of rain. Gale force southwesterly winds easing to strong northwesterlies later. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

    Tonight:

    A cloudy evening with showers, perhaps heavy. Remaining mostly cloudy overnight with showers easing and becoming more scattered, as well as turning more wintry. Fresh to strong northwesterly winds. Minimum temperature -1 °C.

    Saturday:

    A mostly cloudy day with some bright or sunny intervals breaking through. Scattered showers will mainly be confined to the north and will become increasingly wintry through the day. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

    Patchy cloud and bright spells Sunday with a few showers. Cloudy with rain later Sunday and continuing through Monday as winds strengthen. Drier on Tuesday with sunny spells and shower.
