A blustery and increasing wet evening with periods of heavy rain spreading northeast, perhaps falling as snow for a time over the highest ground in the north. A little drier by the morning with temperatures gradually rising. Winds easing down. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Friday:
A damp start with hill fog and showery rain. Brightening up from the south with occasional sunny intervals. Further rain pushing northwards later. Feeling much milder though turning windier later. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Rain or showers still possible over the weekend but drier than of late with some sunshine likely at times. Fog possible at first Sunday. Turning wet and windy on Monday.
